Hear the Word and Observe It

Our relationship to God is far more important than any other relationships we have. Today's Gospel talks about obedience. God is telling us that what really counts is our response to His call.

Luke 11:27-28
27 While Jesus was speaking, a woman from the crowd called out and said to him, “Blessed is the womb that carried you and the breasts at which you nursed.” 28 He replied, “Rather, blessed are those who hear the word of God and observe it.”

Reflection:

Which is more important to you as of this moment? Is it your love and faith in God or your relationships to fellow humans? Which call do you listen to? Is the call of sin or the call of God?
